Mogli was founded in 2011 by Stevan Simich, who originally created a tool to help a nonprofit communicate with Kenyan farmers via text. After successfully reaching over 5,000 people in need of help through targeted, scaled mobile messaging, Mogli was born—short for Mobile Global Impact.
From there, the Mogli team continued developing a core Salesforce texting platform to streamline global communication for organizations across nonprofit and for-profit industries. Mogli has been a Salesforce Partner since 2011 and currently serves more than 700 organizations.

Mogli also announced the planned launch of Mogli for Marketing Cloud in late 2025 to simplify text messaging directly within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
